Pain Management Through Hypnosis

There is extensive evidence showing hypnotherapy is effective in the treatment of many psychological and medical conditions, with pain management being one of the most explored. From the dawn of recorded history until the present day, hypnosis has been used to manage a bewildering array of painful experiences and conditions. Supported by robust empirical evidence, there is currently a rapid resurgence of its use either as an adjunct to conventional medicine, or as an alternative where conventional medicine has little effect. This CPD event will explore the extensive role hypnotherapy has in the management of a wide range of pain-related conditions.
